Description

As part of the Renovation Wave and the EU Recovery, the building sector can contribute significantly to curbing emissions and fulfilling the goals set out in the Paris Agreement. A number of barriers hinder the uptake of building renovation, including market failures and fragmentation, the lack of ready-made information for consumers, and the challenges in accessing funding for building renovation.

“Integrated home renovation services” aim to bring together the services needed to renovate buildings in a single body easily accessible to consumers, service providers, and financial institutions. Building on existing initiatives for building renovation, this SEI Forums webinar will present an overview and detail three integrated solutions championed by local authorities and the financial sector.
