Do you want to set up an NGO but you do not know where to start? Looking for instruments to build a dialogue with industrial polluters? Or you’d like to learn how to fundraise for your project? There is an event, which will address these issues.
On 2-4 February 2022 WWF-Russia and the European Union will hold an online workshop “Management, Negotiations, Fundraising Skills for NGOs”. The event is an activity within the EU-WWF Russia project “People for Nature”(link is external).
Representatives of Non-Governmental organizations from Russia and Europe will share effective strategies for functioning of an NGO and discuss cases from their practice.
Among Russian speakers such experts as Vladimir Sidorov from All-Russia Society for Nature Protection, Far East branch, who will share How to design a social project. The presentation of Zhan Zagidullin, DA-Strategy, will be dedicated to reading non-financial reports. Irina Vorobyeva from WWF-Russia will share how to find donors and get your project financed, Igor Ermachenkov, TASS news agency, will cover the topic of liaising with media.
European expertise will be represented by Oldag Kaspar, GermanWatch, who will cover the topic of Improving business accountability through NGO-company dialogue; Gerbrand Haverkamp, World Benchmarking Alliance, the Netherlands, will share experience related to building constructive dialogue with private sector on ESG issues; Christopher Cordova, AI for Climate, will present projects on mitigating climate risks using artificial intelligence tools, Robin Nataf, Paris Peace Forum, will shed the light on secrets of Pitching and presentation skills for NGOs.
The event will be held online; it is free of charge and welcomes Russian-based NGOs and those who are thinking of becoming an NGO.
