Call for Team of Experts – Global Cultural Relations Programme

Open Call for team of experts in designing trainings in the cultural field at global level.

The Cultural Relations Platform (CRP) is looking for a team of experts with strong experience and expertise in conceptualising, designing, and implementing digital training programmes to develop our flagship training programme: the Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP).

The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP)

The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) is the flagship training programme of the CRP and takes a renewed approach from its predecessor, the Global Cultural Leadership Programme (2016 – 2019). The programme is designed for global cultural operators and practitioners and aims to develop the participants’ skills, support them to engage in global cultural relations through tailored peer-to-peer learning, cross-cultural collaboration and global networking. The key objectives of the GCRP are:

  • Knowledge sharing
  • Community building

For the 2021 edition of the GCRP, in line with the topical discussions surrounding the heavily-impacted cultural and creative sectors around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the overarching key theme of the GCRP is: ‘Shaping the New Normal of International Cultural Relations’.

The 2021 edition of the GCRP will be held in a digital capacity over several days. Participants will be selected through an application procedure, open globally.

Call for team of experts

This open call for a team of experts offers an opportunity for professionals experienced in developing training programmes in the cultural field at global level to assist the CRP in designing and implementing the 2021 edition of the GCRP. The team of 2 – max 3 – experts recruited by the Platform will be involved in conceptualising a tailor-made virtual training programme for a group of up to 100 participants – cultural operators and practitioners from around the world – in a multi-day programme focusing on knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning and workshops, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Experts can be based internationally as this short-term assignment will be conducted virtually. Possibilities of traveling to Brussels can be envisaged depending on the situation and the meetings requirements.

The tentative launch of the 2021 edition of the GCRP is late October/early November. The programme developed with the support of the team of experts should be ready in the second half of July at the latest.
