Celebrate ASEM Day & win your idea a place on EU and ASEM social media

ASEM Day was initiated in 2016 and occurred annually since 1 March 2017 to commemorate the 1st ASEM Meeting (ASEM1) held on 1-2 March 1996 in Bangkok, Thailand. Each year, there are exchanges and encounters, involving young people, students, lecturers, business and diplomatic communities; it’s the day where we celebrate cooperation, partnership and connectivity across these two regions.

This year, we will also celebrate the ASEM 25th Anniversary and we would like to promote the encounter of Europe and Asia giving voice to young people in both continents. We want to know from you why Europe-Asia relations matter to you.

If you are between 18 and 30 years old and citizen of one of the 51 ASEM countries, you are welcome to participate in this activity. Interested? Send your message through the form via the link below until 15th March.

The best messages will be published on the European Union and ASEM social media and further used to promote ASEM day. You might also be interviewed by our journalists whose article will be published on the European Union and ASEM official websites!
