Launch of the EUVP Alumni Platform

The European Union Visitors Programme (EUVP) is pleased to announce the launch of the EUVP My Alumni Platform. The platform will be the first virtual network of EUVP Alumni – leaders, visionaries, high-flyers from all across the globe. On this special occasion, the EUVP prepared the very first networking event for its Alumni taking place on 15 July 2021, during which the Alumni will have an opportunity to discuss in tailor-made groups the topics of their interests, such as human rights, climate & environment policies, digital transformation, international security and cooperation issues and the future of Africa.

The EUVP has existed since 1974, and is jointly managed by the European Parliament and the European Commission. Its distinguished Alumni include many former and current national political leaders, high-ranking government officials, human rights activists, academics and journalists. Until today, the EUVP has welcomed over 4 000 visitors and has been cooperating with 96 countries around the globe.
