Description

The European Commission will organise a two-day online seminar on EU production standards for agri-food products to explain how to tap into the trade opportunities resulting from the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and about the regulations behind the safety and quality of EU food and beverage products.

The seminar provides an opportunity for interactive discussions among European experts in food safety and quality policy, representatives from the Japanese authorities, EU food sector organisations and local importers and retailers. EU Ambassador to Japan Patricia Flor will give opening remarks.
